House number seven: exterior

House 7

The second house in Cedar Springs was even nicer than the first. This was a smaller house, but immaculately kept with loads of details. The kitchen was small, but larger than the riverfront home in Rockford. The taste of the current owner clearly ran toward the feminine "gingerbread" look.

The main downside of this house was the neighborhood. The part of town where this house was situated had become a more industrial area (even though the home was only a block off Main Street). The back wall abutted a large metal pole-barn which housed some sort of metal-working factory; the beautiful front porch faced the rear of a strip-mall type building.

At the end of the day this was Charlotte's favorite house; our ideal at this point would be this house at the riverfront location in Rockford.
