House 3

The next house we saw was an enormous country farmhouse on 2 acres. This home was just above our price range, and was not necessarily in good condition. It had not been updated (ever?), except for a strange addition which looked as if a three-car garage had been turned into some sort of extra-large utility room. The heating was radiators (and a "heatilator fireplace") the windows were old and leaky.

We liked it but ultimately the price combined with the probable upkeep cost had to turn us away.
